Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview Techedge Solution is hiring for the position of Design Engineer_Electrical – Offshore based in Chennai. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Perform technical discussions with onsite/client teams and participate in kick-off discussions for projects at site. - Review existing/as-built drawings, identify existing-to-new MCC interfaces, review vendor drawings, incorporate vendor information, and support design review/comment resolution. - Develop design documentation for replacement and modification of LV MCCs. - Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), MCC General Arrangement drawings, Cable schedules, Termination details, Equipment/Load schedules, Electrical Layouts, and Demolition drawings. - Manage vendor coordination effectively. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 4+ years of total experience, with at least 3 years working in an electrical design consultancy firm. - Hands-on expertise in electrical offshore design, LV MCC modifications, and engineering documentation. - Exposure to IEC and AS/NZS standards is preferred. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India - Working mode: Onsite / Offshore project delivery • Application Instructions Interested candidates are invited to send their updated resume or reach out via phone.
