• Role & Company / Project Overview Barry-Wehmiller GCC is hiring a Senior Engineer – Controls in Chennai, India. At our Chennai Global Competency Center (GCC), you will have the opportunity to contribute to global engineering and technology initiatives supporting businesses around the world. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Perform hands-on PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting. - Support global engineering and technology initiatives across discrete machinery operations. - Utilize Siemens S7-1500 PLC and TIA Portal for system integration, controls design, and automation solutions. - Troubleshoot controls, automation hardware, and software issues across global projects. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 7+ years of experience in Controls & Industrial Automation. - Strong hands-on expertise in Siemens S7-1500 PLC and TIA Portal. - Experience in PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting. - Allen-Bradley and Beckhoff experience is an added advantage. - OEM / discrete machinery experience is preferred. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Barry-Wehmiller GCC, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (Onsite engineering center). - Working arrangement: Full-time engineering role. • Compensation & Benefits - Competitive compensation based on industry standards and experience. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates or those with matching qualifications should submit an updated CV directly to the recruiter email provided in the contact section.
