• Role & Company / Project Overview We are seeking an Application DevOps Engineer to work on large-scale trading and risk platforms and drive automation, resiliency, scalability, and production stability. In this role, you will join a high-impact technology team developing, supporting, and enhancing large-scale regulatory risk solutions across asset classes. You will play a key role in managing and improving our risk calculation plant used for end-of-day and on-demand risk generation—ensuring production stability, resiliency, scalability, and compliance, working with global teams across DevOps, Quartz DevOps, Infrastructure, and Risk Functions. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Provide DevOps expertise and leadership for large-scale risk application infrastructure. - Ensure stability, resiliency, and operational control of end-of-day and on-demand risk generation. - Plan and execute failovers aligned with application and infrastructure requirements. - Collaborate with Quartz DevOps, Infrastructure, and business teams on weekday and weekend activities. - Improve tooling, monitoring, and automation to enhance production stability and reduce manual effort. - Act as a regional point of contact as technology capabilities expand globally. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 8 to 12 years of experience. - Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree. - Strong experience in Python or equivalent languages for automation, tooling, and operational improvements. - Hands-on experience in software development, testing, deployment, and production support using Agile. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and production automation. - Experience with large-scale application platforms including capacity management, resiliency, failover, and stability. - Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver practical, controlled solutions for production. - Good understanding of system design and architecture for resilient, scalable platforms. - Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, and batch processes. - Front office or production support background with interest in growing into DevOps, Python engineering, and platform ownership. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technology, infrastructure, and business teams. - Proven ability to deliver in high-performance, high-priority environments. - Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with an ownership mindset. - Preferred Experience: Experience in the Financial Services industry (Risk, Trading, Market Risk, or Regulatory Reporting platforms); Knowledge of Quartz or similar large-scale trading and risk platforms. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Full-time employment. - Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. - Involves collaboration on weekday and weekend activities. • Compensation & Benefits - Work on cutting-edge high-performance teams, collaborate with global teams, continuous learning, and career growth. • Application Instructions - Share updated CV/resume with the recruiting contact.
