Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Architect to lead the Architecture & Design function for turnkey Civil & Interior projects. Reporting directly to the Managing Director / General Manager, the role is responsible for design leadership, client coordination, design quality, team management, design development, and ensuring timely delivery of projects in line with client requirements, statutory standards, budgets, and project timelines. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead, mentor, and manage the architecture & design team. - Oversee projects from concept development through to detailed design and execution. - Develop innovative, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional architectural designs. - Coordinate seamlessly with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal multidisciplinary teams. - Review drawings, designs, specifications, bills of quantities, and project documentation for quality and accuracy. - Ensure projects strictly adhere to quality standards, budget constraints, delivery timelines, and statutory/regulatory requirements. - Provide strategic direction, technical guidance, and mentorship to the architectural team. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Experience: 12 to 18 years of relevant architectural and design experience. - Core Competencies: Strong architectural design and leadership skills; excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices; proven experience managing large-scale projects and teams; strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; proficiency in relevant architectural design tools. - Preferred Industry Experience: Prior exposure to Corporate Offices, IT/ITES Workspaces, MNC Projects, Commercial Buildings, Hospitality, Laboratories & Healthcare, Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities, and Turnkey Civil & Interior Fit-Out Projects. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Employment Type: Full-time. - Department: Architecture & Design. - Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates can share their updated CV via WhatsApp.
