Role & Company / Project Overview: Hiring a Senior GenAI Architect for a 12-Month Contract in a regulated financial services environment. The role requires someone who can go beyond proofs of concept and architect secure, scalable, production-ready AI platforms combining Azure AI, Agentic AI, RAG, and MLOps/LLMOps. The ideal candidate is a hands-on AI architect who can translate enterprise AI strategy into secure, governed, production-grade solutions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Enterprise AI/ML solution design and architecture • Architect platforms using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI Search • Build Agentic AI frameworks and intelligent workflows • Design RAG architecture, prompt engineering, and model evaluation protocols • Oversee MLOps/LLMOps, model fine-tuning, and deployment governance • Implement AI security, compliance, observability, and data governance • Formulate enterprise AI roadmaps and private/on-prem model strategies • Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical team mentoring • Focus on top 3 priorities: AI/ML Solution Design & Architecture, Deep Azure Cloud & AI Platform Expertise, and Hands-on Agentic AI Workflow Development Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of software engineering and AI/ML systems experience • Strong Azure cloud architecture and enterprise AI expertise • Hands-on experience with Agentic AI and RAG • Proficiency with FastAPI, Pydantic, and AI evaluation frameworks • Practical experience in MLOps/LLMOps, model training, and fine-tuning • Prior financial services experience, including AI governance and compliance Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid) • Contract Duration: 12-Month Contract (C2C / Contractual basis) Compensation & Benefits: • Not specified Application Instructions: • Interested candidates or partners with qualified consultants can apply by emailing their updated resume and contact details or commenting 'GENAI' / sending a direct message
