Role & Company / Project Overview: JConnect Healthcare is actively hiring a Traveler Laboratory Technologist (MLT / MLS / MT) for an exciting 13-week travel healthcare contract assignment with the possibility of extension in Carbondale, Illinois. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Perform clinical laboratory testing and analyze patient specimens accurately. • Adhere strictly to laboratory quality control procedures, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Collaborate and communicate effectively with laboratory colleagues, medical personnel, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. • Maintain operational excellence across laboratory environments and assist with required diagnostic procedures. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Professional qualification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Medical Technologist (MT) as required by the facility. • Proven practical experience in clinical laboratory specimen handling and diagnostic testing. • Thorough understanding of laboratory safety standards, quality control, and procedural compliance. • Must satisfy all relevant licensing, certification, and healthcare facility credentialing requirements. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Carbondale, Illinois, United States. • Contract Duration: 13 weeks with the potential for extension. • Shifts: All shifts available, including 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
