Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview: ASJ Tech is seeking experienced Senior Network Engineers (2 positions available) to design, build, test, and transition enterprise network solutions in a secure national security environment. The role is at a Senior, EL1 equivalent level. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Support network architects to develop and validate comprehensive network designs - Build implementation plans, configuration standards, and technical documentation - Plan and run functional, integration, performance, and security testing - Install, upgrade, and operate enterprise LAN and WAN networks - Transition network services into operational environments with thorough knowledge transfer • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field - 3 to 5+ years of experience in network engineering or administration - Proven experience working with enterprise-scale networks - Strong technical proficiency in TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, MPLS, SD-WAN, and VPN - Practical experience with firewalls, wireless networks, and network monitoring tools - Clearance: Current TSPV clearance is required - Desirable / Bonus Skills: CCNA/CCNP certification, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, Azure / AWS Networking, SD-WAN, and network automation • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Canberra, ACT (100% onsite) - Contract Period: 12-month contract plus 2 x 12-month extensions, starting 1 March 2027 • Compensation & Benefits: - Senior, EL1 equivalent contracting rate (details upon discussion) • Application Instructions: - Applications close Monday 26 October 2026 at 10:00 AM Canberra time.
