Job description
A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Subsea & Marine Utilities Package Design Engineer to join its expanding technical engineering team in Cairo, Egypt. Role Overview: The successful candidate will oversee and manage the technical coordination and complete engineering design of subsea and marine utility systems for major infrastructure projects, including seawater intakes, reject/outfall systems, freshwater transfer pipelines, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crossings, and associated offshore/onshore marine works. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the technical design and coordination of marine and subsea utility systems. - Detailed review of marine and subsea pipeline alignment, structural designs, and hydrodynamic aspects. - Coordinate technical interfaces between marine contractors, seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) package suppliers, and onshore utility infrastructure systems. - Ensure compliance with international engineering standards and client project requirements. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or Pipeline Engineering. - Minimum of 7 to 10 years of total professional engineering experience. - Minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct experience specializing in marine/subsea pipelines, intake/outfall structures, or HDD execution. - Prior experience in desalination marine works is strongly preferred. - Excellent command of professional English. - Previous experience working in GCC or Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) projects is highly desirable.
