Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview: Saudi German Hospital (SGH) is looking for a qualified and experienced General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join its Finance Department in Egypt. The GL Accountant will oversee ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and daily balance reconciliations for the hospital. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Prepare and record journal entries for daily business transactions and general ledger maintenance. - Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and ensure overall accuracy of ledger entries. - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages. - Support internal and external audit activities by compiling necessary financial schedules and documentation. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Experience working as a General Ledger Accountant or in a corporate accounting function. - Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. - Strong knowledge of accounting standards, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. - Analytical ability, precision in calculations, and proficiency in ERP and Excel. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Cairo / Egypt (Saudi German Hospital Egypt branch). - Work Mode: Onsite / Full-time. • Application Instructions: - Submit your updated CV directly to the recruitment email address.
