• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to modernize and support shared Python/Django applications and libraries. This is a long-term position. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Modernize and support shared Python/Django applications and libraries - Handle Python/Django upgrades, including Python 3.12+ compatibility - Implement and maintain authentication/authorization including PIV/SSO, CAS/SiteMinder, Cognito, JWT/OAuth2 - Conduct production troubleshooting and resolve complex technical issues - Implement application security practices including CSP, XSS/CSRF mitigation, secrets management, and secure coding - Mentor developers and collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, DBA, and Infrastructure teams • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 7+ years of relevant experience - Strong experience with Python, Django, REST APIs, testing, and package management - Solid experience with Python/Django upgrades, specifically Python 3.12+ compatibility - Proficiency with authentication & authorization systems: PIV/SSO, CAS/SiteMinder, Cognito, JWT/OAuth2 - Strong experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Git/GitLab - Expertise in production troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues - Strong foundation in application security (CSP, XSS/CSRF, secrets management, secure coding) - Proven ability to mentor developers and collaborate across DevOps, Security, DBA, and Infrastructure teams - Experience working in federal or regulated environments is preferred • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Bethesda, Maryland, United States (Hybrid) - Duration: Long Term • Application Instructions Send your updated resume to the contact email provided or reach out directly on LinkedIn.
