Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring a Senior J2EE Developer for a client based in Bengaluru operating in the Emerging / Frontier Tech sector (in business since 2025, team size 1-10 employees, bootstrapped). The role involves analyzing legacy Java monoliths and leveraging modern tooling, Python, and LLMs for system modernization and data migration in a dynamic startup environment. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Read legacy Java monoliths and analyze workflows. - Trace business logic throughout the application. - Write Python capabilities for data migration. - Review and validate migrated systems against originals. - Use LLMs in the migration process. - Own delivery milestones and communicate with clients. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 4–8 years of overall experience. - 5-7 years in Java, Python, and J2EE (all three required). - Deep Spring Boot experience. - Strong SQL expertise. - Experience with LLMs and fluency with AI tooling. - Experience in Docker and cloud deployments. - Good communication skills. - Proven ability to work in a dynamic startup environment. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (on-site role, only Bengaluru-based candidates will be considered). • Compensation & Benefits - Salary: ₹20–25 LPA (competitive compensation). • Application Instructions - Candidates can share their updated resumes or apply via the provided job application link.
