• Role & Company / Project Overview: Frobin Tech is expanding its semiconductor engineering team in Bengaluru and seeking passionate, experienced VLSI professionals dedicated to cutting-edge semiconductor design and next-generation chip architecture. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: Depending on functional expertise, responsibilities span across core semiconductor design and implementation tracks: - RTL Design: Architect micro-architecture, implement RTL using Verilog/SystemVerilog, and drive SoC/ASIC implementation flows. - Design Verification (DV): Build comprehensive testbench architectures using UVM and SystemVerilog, execute functional coverage, and achieve coverage closure. - Design for Testability (DFT): Implement scan insertion, generate ATPG patterns, configure JTAG, BIST, and boundary scan architectures. - Physical Design (PD): Execute full-chip and block-level floorplanning, place and route (PnR), Static Timing Analysis (STA), and drive timing closure. - Protocols & Integration: Integrate high-speed interfaces like PCIe, integrate complex SoC subsystems, and manage full-chip integration flows. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Domain: Semiconductor / VLSI Engineering. - Experience: 3 to 12+ Years of relevant industry experience. - Core Competencies (in one or more areas): * RTL Design: Verilog, SystemVerilog, Micro-architecture, SoC/ASIC implementation. * Design Verification (DV): UVM, SystemVerilog, Testbench architecture, Coverage closure. * Design for Testability (DFT): Scan insertion, ATPG, JTAG, BIST, Boundary Scan. * Physical Design (PD): Floorplanning, PnR, Static Timing Analysis (STA), Timing Closure. * Protocols & Integration: PCIe, SoC Subsystems, Full-chip flow. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. - Work Setup: Onsite office-based engineering environment. • Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive compensation based on experience and core skill specialization. • Application Instructions: - Eligible candidates can apply by submitting an updated resume via email with the subject line formatted as: Application - VLSI Engineer - [Your Core Skill] - [Years of Exp].
