### Role & Company / Project Overview Purplesynapz Labs is hiring experienced professionals for the role of OT Threat Hunter & Detection Engineer. The role focuses on OT threat hunting, detection engineering, and securing industrial environments. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Conduct OT threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident investigations. • Manage and analyze OT/ICS, SCADA, and industrial network security. • Implement and monitor industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, DNP3, and PROFINET. • Utilize SIEM, IDS/NDR, Wireshark, and network traffic analysis tools for deep inspection. • Leverage MITRE ATT&CK for ICS for OT monitoring and threat detection. • Support industrial SOC operations, critical infrastructure protection, and OT incident response. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 10–16 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years dedicated to OT Threat Hunting & Detection. • Strong expertise in OT/ICS, SCADA, and industrial network security. • Hands-on proficiency with OT security platforms such as Nozomi, Claroty, Dragos, or equivalent. • Deep familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, DNP3, PROFINET). • Experience with SIEM, IDS/NDR, Wireshark, and network traffic analysis. • In-depth knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK for ICS matrix. • Experience in industrial SOC, critical infrastructure, and OT incident response is highly preferred. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India. • Work Model: Hybrid, with required travel to customer and industrial sites as needed. ### Compensation & Benefits • Not specified. ### Application Instructions • Interested candidates can share their updated CV with the recruitment team.
