Role & Company / Project Overview: American Unit is hiring an experienced Data Platform Architect with strong expertise in large-scale data pipelines, ETL, Apache Kafka, and distributed data processing for an onsite engagement. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Architect and design large-scale data pipelines, ETL workflows, and distributed data processing systems • Implement and optimize Apache Kafka and data mediation solutions • Manage batch processing and real-time streaming architectures • Oversee cloud migration initiatives and integrate data platforms across infrastructure Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 11+ years of experience in data platforms and architecture • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, ETL, and data mediation • Expertise in Java, Python, C++, SQL, and Linux/Unix environments • Experience with Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop • Comprehensive knowledge of real-time streaming, batch processing, and cloud migration • Telecom experience with CDRs, billing, or revenue assurance is highly preferred Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite) Compensation & Benefits: • Not specified Application Instructions: • Interested candidates, please share your resume at the provided recruiter email address.
