Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring on behalf of our client, a Japanese company in the machinery trading industry, looking for a Service Engineer specialist in CNC Machines based in Batam. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Install, set up, and commission machines at customer sites. • Perform routine and preventive maintenance. • Troubleshoot technical issues and carry out necessary repairs. • Provide technical support and service to customers. • Ensure machines operate properly and resolve machine-related issues. • Prepare service reports and technical documentation. • Maintain good customer relationships, particularly with customers in Batam. • Travel to customer sites as required. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Male, preferably aged 25–35 years old; Minimum education D3. • Having experience as a Service Engineer, CNC Operator, Machine Technician, or in a similar technical role. • Able to independently install, set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machines. • Good understanding of machine and equipment maintenance. • Intermediate English proficiency, both written and spoken, including the ability to understand and prepare technical documents. • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Possess a valid SIM A or SIM C and own vehicle. • Available to join as soon as possible. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia. • Preferably based in Batam to provide prompt customer support. • Willing to travel and visit customer sites as required.
