Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Senior/Staff Data Engineer – Bidding for a global travel technology business in Bangkok. This is a high-impact role combining data engineering, software engineering, machine learning, experimentation, and PPC bidding systems. You will have staff-level technical ownership, working on large-scale production systems alongside experienced engineers and data scientists, with end-to-end ownership from design through deployment. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Exercise staff-level technical ownership over bidding, optimization, and experimentation systems. • Build the data and machine learning systems that power real-time bidding and performance marketing. • Design, develop, and deploy large-scale data and ML production pipelines and bidding infrastructure. • Collaborate end-to-end with cross-functional global engineering and data science teams from initial design through to deployment. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Strong and essential experience in Python, SQL, Java, or Scala. • Proven background in data engineering, software engineering, and machine learning systems. • Experience with AdTech or PPC bidding systems is a major advantage. • Track record working on large-scale production systems. • Open to all nationalities. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Bangkok, Thailand. • Work arrangement: Hybrid working in Bangkok. • Flexibility: Up to 30 days remote working overseas each year.
