Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking a Software Engineer – PDC Test Fixtures with strong hands-on experience in Python application development and automated test equipment/software development. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Develop Python applications, data acquisition tools, and graphical user interfaces using PyQt / PySide. • Work on Django backend development along with frontend engineering using JavaScript, React, and Next.js. • Implement and maintain automated test equipment (ATE) software and workflows. • Integrate and interface with hardware including NI cDAQ and Beckhoff IOs. • Handle industrial and serial communication protocols: Serial, TCP/IP, Modbus, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, SPI, VISA, and FTDI. • Manage Digital IO / Analog IO, motion control integration, and electrical fundamentals. • Interface with sensors including thermal, vibration, motion, and pressure sensors, as well as optical sensors, LEDs, and lasers. • Maintain version control using Git and Bitbucket. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: 4–6 Years. • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering. • Key Skills: Python Application Development, Python Data Acquisition & GUI (PyQt / PySide), Django Backend Development, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Git / Bitbucket, Automated Test Equipment (ATE), NI cDAQ & Beckhoff IOs, Serial, TCP/IP, Modbus, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, SPI, VISA, FTDI, Digital IO / Analog IO, Motion Control & Electrical Fundamentals, Thermal/Vibration/Motion/Pressure Sensors, Optical Sensors / LEDs / Lasers. • Profile Clarification: Pure LabVIEW, Embedded, VLSI, or Software Tester profiles are not suitable for this role. • Notice Period: Maximum 30 days.
