• Role & Company / Project Overview Tekskills India Pvt Ltd (a CMMI Level 3 Company) is hiring for the role of Embedded Linux Kernel Engineer in Bangalore. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Perform Linux Kernel Configuration, Kernel Building, and Debugging (trace logs, kernel crash logs). - Handle Linux Block device driver development. - Work on Linux BSP (Board support packages) and porting. - Work with Linux File systems such as EXT4 and F2FS. - Configure and manage Linux boot loaders including Uboot and Fastboot. - Work on Linux Block Layer architecture. - Execute Board Bring up on various platforms (e.g., ARM platform) with Android and Linux. - Develop scripts using Python, Perl, and PowerShell. - Understand, inspect, and modify Linux kernel source code. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Experience: 2-6 Years. - Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics. - Strong C programming and debugging skills. - Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals and source code. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Job Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India. • Compensation & Benefits - Not specified. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates kindly drop your updated resume via email.
