• Role & Company / Project Overview Immediate hiring for a Storage QA/Test Engineer based in Bangalore to handle end-to-end verification, system validation, and testing of storage and hardware infrastructure. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design comprehensive test cases and test plans - Execute test scenarios across manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, and end-to-end system testing - Perform frontend and backend API and web testing using tools such as Postman - Analyze system logs, troubleshoot, reproduce defects, and validate bug fixes - Execute Unix/Linux commands and write scripts for test support - Manage defect reporting, test progress tracking, and root cause analysis • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 3 to 4 years of experience in storage testing and quality assurance - Storage & Hardware: Strong understanding of Server, Storage, and Networking concepts - Storage Protocols: Hands-on knowledge of SAS, SCSI, SATA, iSCSI, DAS, NVMe, SSD, and HDD - Operating Systems: Good knowledge of Linux, Windows, VMware, and system-level concepts - Testing Expertise: Extensive experience in Manual, Functional, Regression, and End-to-End System Testing - API & Web Testing: Hands-on experience with frontend and backend testing tools like Postman - Scripting: Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands, Shell scripting, and Python scripting - Cloud Computing: Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts - Defect Management: Proven experience in defect tracking, debugging, and troubleshooting • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India • Application Instructions - Interested candidates matching the requirements are invited to share their updated resume or reach out directly for more details
