Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: Al Fakher Iraq, a leading company in the Tobacco & Molasses (Shisha Tobacco) Manufacturing Industry, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-driven Senior Maintenance Engineer (Iraqi Nationals Only) to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Division and ensure machines, assets, and facilities operate at optimal performance levels. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Work closely with management to identify and achieve division objectives and implement maintenance policies. - Perform a wide variety of maintenance, and troubleshoot and repair all types of electrical faults. - Inspect, assemble, install, and test electrical and mechanical equipment to identify defects and ensure code compliance. - Assist Mechanical and Electrical Engineers in machine preventive maintenance and ensure operation standards are achieved. - Prepare and study electrical drawings and specifications to ensure installations conform to standards. - Comply with Health and Safety and Quality Assurance policies. - Escalate maintenance concerns to Line Managers and perform on-call emergency service as required. - Execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, ensure equipment complies with specifications, and drive continuous operational reliability. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Nationality: Iraqi Nationals Only. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the FMCG industry. - Technical Expertise: Professional in electrical and mechanical machinery maintenance. - Systems: Proficient in PLC, SCADA, and ERP systems. - Engineering Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques to keep equipment operating. - Inventory & Equipment: Experience in spare parts inventory control, production auxiliary machinery, and alarm systems. - Communication: Excellent English communication skills; proficient in reading electromechanical diagrams and catalogues. - Software: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills. - Core Competencies: Strong competencies in decision-making, problem-solving, risk management, time management, and teamwork. - Operations & Safety: In-depth knowledge of production processes, health and safety, project management, and quality management. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Jurf Al-Nadaf, Baghdad, Iraq. - Includes on-call emergency service responsibilities as required. • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates can send their CV via email.
