Role & Company / Project Overview DecisionSix is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for an on-site C2C role in Alpharetta, GA. The interview process includes a mandatory Face-to-Face (F2F) round. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Deliver high-quality production support, software development, performance tuning, and end-to-end troubleshooting in fast-paced production environments. • Perform complex application and database troubleshooting. • Manage and maintain batch scheduling tools such as AutoSys. • Build, maintain, and support CI/CD deployment automation pipelines using Jenkins and Train. • Administer and monitor systems across on-demand environments, virtual machines, and containerized platforms. • Implement proactive system monitoring and alerting using tools including Splunk, IPsoft, and Sockeye. • Support cloud environments on AWS and Azure while maintaining security and networking standards. • Drive continuous operational improvement and collaborate within Agile Scrum teams. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 4+ years of relevant industry experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Support. • Strong production support, development, performance optimization, and troubleshooting background. • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Shell Scripting, or Perl. • Solid database expertise in DB2, Sybase, or Oracle. • Hands-on proficiency with AutoSys or equivalent batch scheduling platforms. • Proven understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools (Jenkins, Train). • Experience with on-demand environments, virtual machines, and containers. • Working knowledge of monitoring platforms (Splunk, IPsoft, Sockeye). • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and associated security/networking concepts. • Clear understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum). • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and process improvement abilities.
