Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join an exciting Aerospace & Defence R&D environment at Pamohi Synergy Solutions in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This is a full-time, on-site position. Candidates must possess relevant hands-on experience and a strong technical foundation, as minimal guidance will be provided. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • 3D CAD modelling, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings • Mechanical component and system design • Design and evaluation of bearings, shafts, couplings, seals, gearboxes, rotating equipment, and heat exchangers • Application of GD&T, fits & tolerances, and tolerance stack-up analysis • Preparation and management of BOMs, engineering documentation, and configuration management • Execution of DFM/DFA, DFMEA, and PFMEA processes • Prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting • Close coordination with R&D, CFD, FEA, manufacturing, quality, and external suppliers • Design improvement and root-cause analysis Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant hands-on mechanical design experience • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks • Good proficiency in AutoCAD • Sound understanding of Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering fundamentals • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and material selection • Expertise in GD&T and tolerance stack-up • Working knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and engineering documentation • Familiarity with aerospace and engineering standards • Experience with Windchill PLM or ERP systems is considered an advantage Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Employment Type: Full-Time • Work Mode: On-Site • Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Compensation & Benefits: • Compensation details are discussed during the evaluation process based on current CTC and expected CTC Application Instructions: Interested candidates can share their CV with the hiring team mentioning Current CTC, Expected CTC, Notice Period, Current Location, Relevant Mechanical Design Experience, and CFD Experience.
