Role & Company / Project Overview: Star Services is seeking an experienced and qualified HSE Officer for an offshore Oil & Gas opportunity in the UAE. - Industry: Oil & Gas / Offshore - Position: HSE Officer Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Monitor offshore operations to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and approved procedures. - Conduct regular safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, conditions and potential hazards. - Ensure appropriate risk controls are implemented for offshore activities. - Monitor compliance with PTW, risk assessments, method statements and safe work procedures. - Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and HSE awareness sessions. - Support emergency preparedness activities, drills and response arrangements. - Report and support the investigation of incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions. - Follow up on corrective actions and ensure identified HSE issues are properly closed. - Maintain HSE records, inspection reports and relevant safety documentation. - Promote a strong safety culture across offshore operations. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Minimum 5+ years of relevant HSE experience. - ITI / Diploma in any Engineering discipline. - NEBOSH IGC Level 3 is mandatory. - TBOSIET Certification is mandatory. - Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience working on offshore vessels, offshore platforms, barges, and marine / Oil & Gas facilities. - Proven experience working in offshore environments with strong knowledge of marine and Oil & Gas safety requirements. - Good knowledge of offshore HSE procedures, risk assessment, hazard identification and control measures. - Strong understanding of emergency response, permit-to-work systems and safe work practices.
