A specialized contract role seeking an experienced Jira Cloud Administrator to support, optimize, and scale enterprise-level Jira environments. Duties encompass managing complex multi-team and multi-organization configurations, designing and maintaining workflows, schemes, permissions, and custom fields; scripting with Groovy (ScriptRunner) for automation; integrating Jira with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools via REST API; and implementing best practices for governance, taxonomy, and software delivery models. Candidates should have at least 10 years of Jira administration experience with a strong focus on Jira Cloud, along with scripting proficiency in Groovy and other languages such as C#, C++, Python, or Golang. Additional valued skills include AI-driven workflow automation, knowledge of agentic IDEs and LLM integration, and exposure to Agile/SAFe frameworks. This is a remote opportunity.
